How Friends Make Geeky Things More Fun

Hey, guys!  Today the friends in the spotlight are going to be my friends Amber and Annabelle, whose blog I gave a shoutout to a few days ago.  Anyway, here’s my theory based on my experiences with writing and playing video games.

I think writing with friends is more enjoyable and easy because you have someone to develop the story with and give different opinions on what may be happening.  Books written cooperatively are usually pretty good because they have someone else’s opinion on what should happen and someone else to spot errors that you may have missed.  It’s a different story when you’re both trying to develop the story at the same time, but that’s not the point.

Playing video games with someone else is pretty common, but it’s really fun.  Two always gets the job done faster, and it gives you someone to share your thoughts with, too.  In the new Animal Jam Forgotten Desert adventure I had to tell Amber that it was called the Forgotten Desert and not the Forgotten Dessert.  That brought to mind a cake someone had left in the refrigerator and forgotten about.  I almost always play Diablo III with my cousin, and both Annabelle and Amber join me on Animal Jam.

All in all, I think friends can make almost anything easier and more fun, just because two heads are better than one.  If any of your friends have done something stupid, funny, or just awesome, please post it in the comments.

Thanks for reading, you’re so cool :3
