My Minecraft Skin Timeline

Hey, guys! I’m back for another post, this one about my menagerie of Minecraft skins that I’ve created – which has been a little varied, to say the least.

I don’t have a picture of my very first skin, but one of the first ones posted on my Planet Minecraft account is this.
ewww

Yuck.

You could tell I started to get the hang of it right about here.

ewww

Still pretty awful though. That skin color is nasty.

They got a little more detailed, but not much.

ewww

Ooh, plot twist! I added a nose and started to shade more like this.

ewww

It’s still not too great. I hadn’t really got the gist of palettes yet.

My hair shading changed multiple times while I used this shading.

ewww

Then – voila! – I had a big lightbulb, and this happened.

ewww

I didn’t like that shading much, so I experimented for a while. Notice how the level of detail is getting higher and higher.

ewww

And then I figured it out.

I’ve come a long way, don’t you think?

Thanks for checking this out!! 🙂

Back to Blogging!

Hey, guys!! Oh my goodness… it’s been SO LONG since I’ve posted anything on TFG!!! I have SO much to talk about, and I don’t know if you want to read it all, but here it is anyway.

I got back on Animal Jam for the first time in, like, a year. A whole lot has changed – too much for me. {2much4me.} My friend wanted his account back, but it still had most of my stuff on it, so I’m pretty bummed about that. I’m still a non-member, which I don’t really care about, but it irritates me that it’s such a pay-to-win game.

Speaking of pay-to-win games, I kind of dropped Diablo III. Actually, it got accidentally deleted when we were cleaning out the computer. Instead, I started playing another RPG instead, and this one’s free: RIFT. It’s not exactly new; I played it back in 2011 when it was fresh out of beta, but at $15 a month it was WAY too expensive to play for long. The good news is, it’s now free to play, except for a couple optional in-game purchases to get more currency, objects, etc. I’ve already played to level 38.

I owned a Minecraft server for about three months, but it got a bit boring, so it’s getting closed. It’s difficult to do anything other than vanilla, and I didn’t really know how to code, so I just played vanilla survival with Amber, Celestia, and a couple people on Planet Minecraft.

Speaking of Planet Minecraft, I got a name change, got to level 45, and rose quite a bit in the popularity scale. My skins have improved a TON.

Well, I guess that’s about it. Thanks for reading my long string of nothingness!

Planet Minecraft Contest!

Hey, guys! This isn’t going to be a real post, but don’t worry, there’ll be one later. Anyway, yesterday on Planet Minecraft, the new monthly contest was announced. The theme is circus characters. I made and posted my skin this morning, and in order to get to the finals like I did last month [yay!!!] I need lots of likes on the skin. So, if you have a PMC account or were thinking about getting one, it would be AWESOME if you could diamond my skin and help me. Thanks!!!!

Minecraft Art :)

Hey, guys!! OH MY GOODNESS, I haven’t posted in SO LONG!!!!! I’ll MAKE SURE to do something else today, I promise!! Sorry about that!!

Anyway, here’s this really cute cartoon thingy I did of my Minecraft skin. It looks nothing like the blocky thing, of course, but it’s not supposed to look realistic.
